Online Adjunct Faculty

Job Summary

To support online learning in History and Political Science, interested candidates will find a part-time Online Adjunct Faculty position responsible for mentoring students and facilitating teaching in a flexible remote environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Mentor students and facilitate online learning experiences
• Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the selection process
• Maintain presence in the course for five days each week, Monday through Saturday

Required qualifications:

• Master's degree or higher in history, political science, or a closely related field
• Professional experience in related fields is desired
• Online and/or classroom teaching experience is helpful but not necessary
• Ability to hold and be worthy of a temple recommend
• Personal iOS or Android device with a corresponding phone number for WhatsApp communication may be required
