Online Adjunct Faculty - Apparel Design

Job Summary

To support the educational mission of Brigham Young University-Idaho, the part-time Online Adjunct Faculty - Apparel Design will mentor students and facilitate online learning in apparel design and construction, focusing on pattern making, construction techniques, and textile studies.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor students and facilitate teaching and learning in an online environment
• Develop and deliver course content related to apparel design and construction principles
• Engage with students regularly, ensuring course presence five days a week

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Clothing and Textiles, Family and Consumer Science, Apparel Design, or a related field; Master's preferred
• Background in basic sewing techniques
• Professional experience in a related field is desired
• Ability to support the values and standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints
• Eligibility to hold a temple recommend as a condition of employment
