Job Summary

Seeking qualified individuals, the part-time Online Adjunct Faculty - Data Science will mentor students and facilitate learning in an online environment, focusing on courses such as Data Intuition and Insight, Data Science Programming, and Data Wrangling, Exploration, and Visualization.

Key responsibilities

• Mentor students and facilitate teaching and learning in assigned online Data Science courses
• Participate in an online asynchronous assessment as part of the selection process for teaching opportunities
• Maintain alignment with the missions, values, and standards of the affiliated educational institutions

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or higher in a Data Science-related field (e.g., Computer Science, Statistics)
• More than two years of experience with data visualization using R or Python, and tools like Tableau or Power BI
• Professional experience with data science projects using Python and associated data analytics packages
• Experience with R/RStudio and associated packages for data handling and visualization
• Familiarity with Git and GitHub is preferred
