Job Summary

A company is looking for a Department of History and Government Adjunct (Online/Remote) to teach in the disciplines of Criminal Justice, Political Science, and Public Administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Utilize Blackboard Learning Management Platform for course management
  • Create weekly video lectures and announcements on Blackboard
  • Engage with students through discussion boards and email, and provide timely grading and personalized feedback on all assignments

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Minimum of a Master's degree from an accredited institution; a terminal degree is preferred
  • Practitioner experience in Criminal Justice, Political Science, or Public Administration is preferred
  • Commitment to active teaching methods and creating an engaging online learning experience
  • Must complete an Online Faculty Yearly Training as part of the onboarding process
  • This position allows for remote work and does not require a local presence in Southern California
