Online Adjunct Instructor - Agroforestry

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Baccalaureate Adjunct in Agroforestry Non-timber Forest Products or System Design.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in agroforestry
• Teach courses asynchronously with an average of 20 students per course
• Provide timely feedback and engage in discussion board tasks with students

Required Qualifications

• Terminal degree (e.g., PhD) in Agroforestry, Forestry, Ethnobotany, Landscape Architecture, Permaculture, or related field, or a master's degree with relevant experience
• Proficient in operating a personal computer and associated software
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
• Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context is preferred
