Online Adjunct Instructor - Special Education

Job Summary

Online Adjunct Instructor - Special Education is a part-time position responsible for providing online instruction in special education and elementary education courses, facilitating discussions, assessing student performance, and supporting student success.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
• Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
• Respond to students' questions and emails within established timeframes

Required Qualifications

• Preferred: Doctorate in Special Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Learning and Teaching, Educational Psychology, or Psychology
• Minimum: Master's in Special Education or Elementary Education or Curriculum and Instruction with two areas of exceptional expertise
• Five years of experience as a special education and/or elementary classroom teacher or related instructional role
• Valid state teacher full special education and elementary education teaching certification
• At least six graduate credits in educational psychology or related fields
