Job Summary
A publishing company specializing in learning content and assessments is filling a position for a Online Adjunct Japanese Teacher.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Supporting the instructional program with synchronous and asynchronous web conferencing sessions using Adobe® Connect™
- Completing all grading by providing prompt, high-quality, personalized feedback on assignments
- Using data to monitor successful completion of assignments and facilitate appropriate interactions with students
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree
- Highly qualified and certified to teach Japanese with a valid state teaching certificate in one of the following states: AR, MI, TN
- Must have completed traditional teacher preparation program (not alternative certification) at an accredited college or university
- Ability to obtain certification in other states as requested
- Provide feedback to students in a timely manner and grade assessments within the required timeframe
- Ability to work some occasional evening hours, as needed, to support some families
