Job Summary
To support the delivery of information technology courses, a part-time Online Adjunct Professor - Networking will teach remotely, requiring a Master's degree in networking, cybersecurity, or a related field, along with relevant certifications such as CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare and deliver course content through Blackboard, facilitating discussions and grading student work while providing timely feedback
- Engage with students through various communication methods, ensuring participation and support for student success
- Maintain current knowledge in the field and participate in faculty meetings and professional development activities
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in networking, cybersecurity, or a related field; PhD preferred
- At least one relevant certification (CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, or CISSP) with valid dates
- Three years of experience in education at the college level within the last ten years
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and online teaching technologies
- Demonstrated leadership skills and ability to work collaboratively in an educational setting
