Online Adjunct Professor of Astrophysics

Job Summary

To support the educational mission, the part-time Online Adjunct Professor of Astrophysics will teach courses remotely, assist students in achieving learning outcomes, and provide timely feedback while maintaining university standards.

Key responsibilities

• Teach approved curriculum material according to an assigned schedule
• Provide regular feedback and maintain productive contact with students to support retention initiatives
• Advise students on academic matters and report grades in accordance with university policies

Required qualifications

• Terminal or Master's degree in Astrophysics from an accredited institution
• Demonstrated personal faith commitment to the university's evangelical Christian purpose
• Full adherence to the evangelical mission and doctrine of the institution
• Experience with collaborative learning techniques and student-centered instruction
• Proven organizational skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision
