Online Adjunct Psychology Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adjunct Faculty member to teach Introduction to Psychology in an online campus setting.

Key Responsibilities

• Instruct the Introduction to Psychology course, focusing on foundational concepts of human behavior, cognition, and development
• Facilitate an engaging asynchronous learning environment with scheduled synchronous sessions for community building
• Implement restorative pedagogical practices and utilize First-Year Experience supports to enhance student engagement and success

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of a Master's degree in Psychology; a Doctoral degree is preferred
• Proven experience teaching in an online, asynchronous environment
• Experience mentoring first-year and first-generation college students
• Documented awareness of First-Year Experience frameworks or student success initiatives
• Specialized training and practical experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI) tools in education
