Job Summary

A company is looking for an Adolescent Literacy Adjunct Faculty member for an online position in the College of Education.

Key Responsibilities
  • Facilitate weekly main discussion forums to engage students in the online classroom
  • Adhere to weekly grading requirements, deadlines, and timeframes
  • Respond to students' questions and emails within established timeframes
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
  • Preferred: Doctorate in Special Education, Elementary Education, Curriculum and Instruction, Learning and Teaching, Educational Psychology, or Psychology
  • Minimum: Master's degree in Special Education or Elementary Education or Curriculum and Instruction
  • Two areas of exceptional expertise required
  • Minimum of five years of experience as a special education or elementary classroom teacher or related roles
  • At least six graduate credits in educational psychology, human development, or related fields
