Online Algebra Tutor

Job Summary

Seeking experienced and enthusiastic Algebra Tutors, this fully remote contract position allows tutors to set their own hours while providing personalized support in Algebra 1 and Algebra 2, as well as related math subjects from 6th grade through college level.

Key responsibilities

• Provide one-on-one online tutoring sessions in Algebra and related math subjects
• Support students by adapting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs
• Maintain a flexible schedule to accommodate student availability, particularly during peak hours

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree
• Minimum of 3 years of professional teaching or tutoring experience
• At least 1 year of relevant U.S. teaching or tutoring experience within the past 2 years
• Experience in online tutoring for at least 1 year
• Strong understanding of the U.S. curriculum and grading standards
