Job Summary
An institute for higher education is filling a position for a Online and Distance Education Instructional Designer.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Designing online content in Canvas and integrate current educational technologies
- Acting as an expert resource for our Canvas learning management system and related tools
- Developing online instructor and student support materials, tutorials, orientations, help sessions, and workshops
Qualifications for this position include:
- Bachelor's degree required
- 3 to 5 years relevant experience working as an instructional designer
- Experience in leading and managing multiple, complex projects
- Strong research, content analysis, and content preparation skills
- Demonstrated excellent oral and written communication skills
