Online Animal Science Instructor

Job Summary

Seeking enthusiastic individuals, the part-time Online Animal Science Instructor will facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in Animal Science, Animal Health, and Behavior, providing timely feedback and support to an average of 20 students in a fully remote learning environment.

Key responsibilities:

• Facilitate engagement and learning in online courses, ensuring timely feedback and responsiveness to students
• Manage course content and discussions in an asynchronous format for undergraduate students
• Maintain organization and time management to meet course expectations and student needs

Required qualifications:

• Possession of a terminal degree (PhD, DVM) in animal science, animal behavior, or a related discipline, or a master's degree with significant professional experience
• Proficiency in using personal computers and software applications (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills using email and digital conferencing tools
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
