Online Aquaculture Instructor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Adjunct Instructor in Aquaculture.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses in sustainable aquaculture and related subjects
• Teach courses asynchronously to an average of 20 students
• Provide timely feedback and engage in Discussion Board tasks while being responsive to students

Required Qualifications

• Terminal degree (e.g. PhD) in aquaculture, aquatic ecology, or related discipline, or a master's degree with relevant experience
• Proficiency in operating a personal computer and associated software (Outlook, Word, Excel, etc.)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the institution
• Experience teaching adult learners and/or in an online context is preferred
