Job Summary
An educational and therapeutic services company is in need of a Online Arizona School K to 10th Grade Certified Special Education Teacher.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Teaching middle school children who have cognitive, emotional, or physical disabilities
- Teaching disabled youth basic literacy
- Modifying traditional education curriculum to meet the needs of students with disabilities
Position Requirements Include:
- Certified in Arizona as a Special Education Teacher
- Ability to work consistently serving students during the school day for 28-35 hours per week
- Ability to provide instruction virtually in an online environment to K-10 students with mild disabilities
- Ability to help and potentially develop an Individualized Education Program (IEP) for each student
- Ability to help identify children with special needs
- Ability to ensure appropriate accommodations are available in class and when a student needs to take a test
