Job Summary
An American private research university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Online Bilingual Spanish Student Programs Tutorial Assistant.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Conversing with students in the Spanish language via Skype
- Monitoring student progress and assisting students in accomplishing learning objectives
- Coordinating with the course instructor to conduct tutorial sessions
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED
- Experience working as a tutor or teaching assistant for at least one semester
- Native-like proficiency in Spanish language
- Experience teaching students from diverse backgrounds
- Demonstrated ability to teach students to develop their written and conversational skills in Spanish
- Must have a computer with broadband Internet access
