Job Summary

A private, for-profit university has an open position for an Online California Licensed Advanced Nursing Practice Associate Faculty Member.

Core Responsibilities Include:

  • Instructing a curriculum which is centrally developed with specific learning objectives
  • Providing timely and detailed feedback on a weekly basis and offer student support via classroom, phone, and email
  • Utilizing classroom learning system technology (provided by university), the Internet, and Microsoft Office software

Qualifications for this position include:

  • Doctorate of Nursing Science, Doctor of Nursing Practice, or a PhD in Nursing
  • Or Doctorate degree in any area and a Master’s degree in Nursing OR Master’s degree in Nursing
  • Possession of an active unencumbered or unrestricted license in the state of CA
  • Possession of a Registered Nurse (RN) and Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) license
  • Active National Certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Clinical Nurse Specialist
  • Professional experience as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and/or Clinical Nurse Specialist (CNS)
