Job Summary
A remote therapy and education company has a current position open for a Online California Licensed Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Delivering virtual instruction and support to students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Utilizing various digital tools and platforms to facilitate engaging and interactive lessons
- Monitoring student progress and provide ongoing feedback and assessments
Qualifications for this position include:
- Valid teaching certification in Special Education or Deaf Education in the state of California
- Proficiency in American Sign Language (ASL)
- Bachelor's degree in Deaf Education, Special Education, or a related field
- Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong knowledge of special education laws and regulations
