Online Chemistry Teacher

Job Summary

To support a diverse international student body, the part-time Online Chemistry Teacher will deliver engaging live lessons, assess student progress, and manage an organized online classroom in a fully remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging, high-quality live lessons in Chemistry tailored to students' needs
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, maintaining organization for easy access to assignments and assessments

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the high school level (Grades 9-12)
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in Chemistry or a related field
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education
• Knowledge of a US high school curriculum and associated external examinations
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents
