Core Responsibilities Include:
- Reflecting on and developing the ability to communicate effectively through multiple modes of communication
- Developing critical thinking skills such as problem solving, analysis, decision making, and recognizing bias in sources
- Acquiring skills and tools to self-assess intrapersonal skills
Skills and Requirements Include:
- Experience in developing and/or teaching courses for young adults in a virtual, online environment
- Experience teaching diverse student populations in diverse settings
- Experience supporting young adults with college persistence and/or career exploration
- Strong interpersonal skills including clear and effective communication skills
- Strong intrapersonal skills including conscientiousness, professionalism, growth mindset, and the ability to problem solve
- Proficiency using online technologies and demonstrated experience communicating complex processes and information virtually
