Job Summary
A university is searching for a person to fill their position for a Online Computer Science Adjunct Faculty Member.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing a high level of student outreach
- Being engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the classroom
- Providing substantial student feedback and offering a quick turnaround on grades
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution
- 2+ years' experience in the computer science, software engineering, or software development fields
- Programming experience in C, C++, Coral, Python, Java, Assembly, Javascript, CSS, HTML and/or SQL
- Experience with using Linux, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Maven, MongoDB, Android Studio, BitBucket, and/or eGit
- Experience requirements vary by course
- A passion for inspiring students who have faced obstacles in their education
