Job Summary

A university is seeking a Online Computer Science Adjunct Faculty Member.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Provide a high level of student outreach and connect with students, academic advisors and team leads on a frequent basis
  • Be engaging, offering an increased and innovative presence in the classroom
  • Provide substantial student feedback and offer a quick turnaround on grades

Required Skills:

  • Master's Degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field from an accredited higher education institution
  • 2+ years' experience in the computer science, software engineering, or software development fields
  • Programming experience in C, C++, Coral, Python, Java, Assembly, Javascript, CSS, HTML and/or SQL
  • Experience with using Linux, Eclipse, Visual Studio, Maven, MongoDB, Android Studio, BitBucket, AWS, UI/UX, and eGit
  • Experience requirements vary by course
  • A passion for inspiring students who have faced obstacles in their education
