Job Summary
An American private research university has an open position for a Online Computer Science Instructor in Baltimore.
Core Responsibilities Include:
- Develop and teach lessons within curriculum defined by CTY; Lectures are not required
- Monitor student progress and assist students in accomplishing established learning objectives
- Interact independently with students using distance education technologies
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university in computer science, engineering or related field
- Two years teaching, tutoring or related experience is required
- Additional (graduate) education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU Equivalency Formula
- Thorough knowledge of Scratch or related programming language
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Experience working with students from diverse backgrounds
