Job Summary
To develop an engaging online course, the part-time Adjunct Online Course Developer - Leadership Theory will create an asynchronous eight-module course for LDR 615: Foundations of Leadership Theory and Inquiry, collaborating with the Office of Educational Technologies and utilizing best practices in online education.
Key responsibilities
- Create an eight-module asynchronous online course development plan
- Generate online content, including lectures, assignments, and assessment rubrics
- Collaborate with the instructional design team to implement the course in Canvas, ensuring ADA compliance
Required qualifications
- MA or PhD in Leadership or a related field
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in developing online learning experiences or teaching online
- Understanding of or experience with contemplative pedagogy
- Demonstrated understanding of the dynamics of privilege and oppression
- Familiarity with Naropa education and leadership is preferred
