Job Summary

Seeking enthusiastic individuals, the part-time Online Culinary Innovation Instructor will facilitate engagement in asynchronous undergraduate courses focused on food science, sustainable food systems, and nutrition, while providing timely feedback and support to an average of 20 students per course in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate engagement in 5-week undergraduate-level courses related to food science and sustainable food systems
• Provide timely feedback and maintain active participation in Discussion Board tasks
• Respond to student inquiries and foster a supportive online learning environment

Required qualifications

• Terminal degree/PhD or a master's degree with relevant work experience in Food Science, Food Studies, Sustainable Food Systems, Nutrition, or Dietetics
• Proficiency in using personal computers and associated software (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel)
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Effective communication skills using email and digital conferencing tools
• Personal commitment to the environmental focus and mission of the college
