Online Dramatic Writing Professor

Job Summary

An educational institution for the arts needs applicants for an opening for an Online Dramatic Writing Professor.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

• Teaching courses in content creation for interactive narratives
• Teaching introductory courses in screenwriting and TV writing
• Supporting an ensemble-based approach

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

• Terminal degree or its equivalent
• Expertise in immersive formats such as themed entertainment, branching narratives, and 360 worlds
• Leadership and supervisory experience in academic area
• A successful career as a faculty member
• Demonstrated effectiveness as an academic leader, normally through service on academic groups
• Experience with curriculum development
