A college has a current position open for a Online English Composition Assistant Associate Adjunct Faculty Member in Moraga.

Candidates will be responsible for the following:

Teaching in the scheduled modality and follow the remote percentage expectations
Helping students develop their skills in critical thinking and written communication

Qualifications for this position include:

Teach a section in person, on campus
At least two years of experience teaching first-year writing as the instructor of record at SMC or equivalent courses
Evidence of successful completion of graduate coursework in Composition pedagogy
MA in Rhetoric and Composition, PhD in English, MFA in Creative Writing, or a similarly-defined field
