Online Finnish Teacher

Job Summary

Seeking a part-time Online Finnish Teacher, the contracted position will provide one-to-one lessons via Zoom to a beginner student in Pennsylvania, focusing on conversational skills and practical usage of the language.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver personalized Finnish language lessons tailored to the student's needs and goals
• Schedule sessions once to twice a week, preferably on Mondays and either Thursdays or Fridays at 4pm, 5pm, or 6pm EST
• Monitor student progress and adapt teaching methods to enhance learning outcomes

Required qualifications

• Native Finnish speaker and/or possess a relevant teaching qualification
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Valid work permit/visa to work in the U.S
• Reside within 20 miles of the specified location in Pennsylvania
