Job Summary

To support a vibrant online learning environment, the part-time Online French Teacher will engage high school students in live lessons for French 3, utilizing innovative teaching strategies and technology to enhance fluency and confidence in the language.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver engaging live lessons tailored to a diverse international student group
• Assess student progress and provide targeted feedback to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, organizing assignments and assessments for easy access

Required Qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the high school level (Grades 9-12) in a school setting
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in French or a related field
• Native or near-native fluency in French, with knowledge of a recognized high school world-language curriculum
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students and parents
