Job Summary

To support a vibrant online learning environment, the part-time Online French Teacher will deliver engaging live lessons in French 1, assess student progress, and utilize digital tools to foster an interactive classroom experience for motivated high school students from around the world.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver high-quality live lessons tailored to the diverse needs of international students
• Assess student progress, provide targeted feedback, and adapt teaching strategies to ensure strong learning outcomes
• Manage the online classroom on Canvas, keeping it organized with assignments and assessments for easy student access

Required qualifications

• A minimum of 5 years' teaching experience at the high school level (Grades 9-12) in a school setting
• A Bachelor's degree or higher in French or a related field
• Native or near-native fluency in French and knowledge of a recognized high school world-language curriculum
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and a passion for technology-enabled education
• Exceptional communication skills for effective interaction with students and the CGA team
