Job Summary
To support a growing online health science program, the part-time Health Science Adjunct - General Chemistry will teach General Chemistry I & II lectures and laboratories, focusing on fundamental concepts such as chemical reactions, thermodynamics, and atomic structure, while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Deliver engaging lectures and laboratory sessions for General Chemistry I & II courses
- Integrate virtual or at-home assignments into the laboratory curriculum
- Assess student performance and provide feedback to enhance learning outcomes
Required qualifications
- A minimum of a master's degree in a relevant field; a doctorate is preferred
- Completion of 18 graduate semester hours in the subject matter field
- Experience teaching similar courses at a higher education institution
- Preference for candidates with online teaching experience
