An online university for adult learners needs applicants for an opening for an Online General Education Philosophy Instructor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Providing expertise in assigned content area
- Fostering student learning through innovative, effective teaching practices
- Using technology-based teaching and communication platforms
Must meet the following requirements for consideration:
- Ph.D in Philosophy (any area of specialty) from an accredited institution
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience providing student support and instruction
- Demonstrated ability to work with diverse learner profiles
- Ability to work a student-friendly schedule (evenings/weekends)
- Demonstrated ability to customize instructional support for learners with a variety of needs
- Must demonstrate technological competency: Proficiency in Microsoft Office (or similar)
