Job Summary

A remote therapy and education company is seeking a Online Georgia Licensed Teacher for the Deaf and Hard of Hearing.

Must be able to:

  • Create and modify instructional materials to meet the needs of individual students
  • Develop and implement Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of student progress

Position Requirements Include:

  • Bachelor's degree in Education, Special Education, Deaf Education, or a related field
  • Experience working with students who are deaf or hard of hearing, preferably in an online setting
  • Knowledge of assistive technology and other resources for students who are deaf or hard of hearing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Deaf Education certification or Special Education certification with a focus on Deaf Education (Must be in GA)
  • Proficient in American Sign Language (ASL) and other communication methods used by students who are deaf or hard of hearing
