Online Health Information Management Faculty
Job Summary
Working remotely on a swing shift basis, the Online Health Information Management Faculty will instruct and facilitate online courses, support student success, and collaborate with program directors to enhance the educational experience.
Key responsibilities
- Instruct and facilitate meaningful learning of course competencies in the online curriculum
- Advise students on academic progress and provide career education through learner-centered instruction
- Assist with practicum site evaluations and collaborate with admissions and career services as needed
Required qualifications
- Must possess RHIA, RHIT, CCS, or CCP credentials with relevant professional experience
- Minimum of one year of online teaching experience preferred
- Successful completion of the CHCP Online Faculty Orientation course
- Proven teaching skills as evidenced by prior evaluations
- Willingness to work online with students five of seven days per week
