Job Summary

A university is in need of a Online Healthcare Informatics Adjunct Faculty Member.

Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:

  • Assist with new course development or revisions as a content expert in addition to teaching assignments
  • Conduct course(s) as designed and properly administer the Learning Management System (Canvas)
  • Engage in class(es) at least five (5) times per week, including either Saturday or Sunday, to participate in the weekly discussions

Must meet the following requirements for consideration:

  • Terminal degree from regionally accredited university within a technology discipline is strongly preferred
  • Industry experience in healthcare informatics, healthcare data analytics, health information systems or electronic medical records
  • Minimum two years of teaching experience
  • Minimum one year of online teaching experience
  • Minimum 3+ years of professional experience in related discipline
