Job Summary
A team of premier tutors, entrepreneurs, strategists, and parents who are passionate about improving the remote learning and tutoring experience needs applicants for an opening for a Online High School Math Tutor in Los Angeles.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Serving as a math tutor to build a strong, consistent relationship that encourages students to continue attending sessions
- Delivering curriculum and activities in a culturally responsive manner, accommodating the diverse needs of students
- Scheduling their availability during the interval of 4 pm until 10 pm on weekdays and anytime on weekends and assigned to students
Position Requirements Include:
- California residency
- Experience with California high school math standards (Pre-Algebra, Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Precalculus, Calculus, and Statistics) preferred
- Demonstrated strong experience in online tutoring preferred
- 4-year university degree or in the process of completing a 4-year university degree
- Ability to complete post-session documentation
- Ability to administer formative assessments
