Job Summary
A university needs applicants for an opening for a Online History Teaching Assistant.
Must be able to:
- Analyze student activity within discussions and assessments and choose the appropriate responses
- Accurately use the right type of responses based upon training and input from the master instructor
- Assist in managing generic student communications
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Master’s in History OR Master’s in any discipline with 18 semester or 27 quarter hours in History
- Evidence of professional or academic experience with information literacy, critical thinking, and oral communication
- Previous teaching experience with adult learners
- Exhibits sound judgment in making decisions
- Ability to lead group discussions
- Ability to keep accurate records
