Job Summary
A postsecondary online academic university is seeking an Online Homeland Security Faculty Member.
Candidates will be responsible for the following:
- Teaching a full-time faculty load
- Effectively engaging students in the course material
- Effectively monitoring and guiding discussion(s) on the threaded discussion platform
Applicants must meet the following qualifications:
- Terminal Degree
- Experience teaching in a higher education setting
- Demonstrated knowledge of current trends in the discipline
- Demonstrated ability to engage with students in a virtual environment
- Ability to provide constructive and substantive feedback on student work
- Proficient in Microsoft Office products with ability to quickly learn new technologies and software
