Job Summary
Consulting with educators on the design and development of instructional materials, the full-time Online Instructional Designer will create and integrate online and hybrid courses using instructional technologies, primarily supporting the School of Public Health in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities
- Consults with faculty and subject matter experts to design and develop instructional materials for online and hybrid courses
- Evaluates instructional needs and aligns goals and objectives for effective online and hybrid learning
- Designs, develops, and assesses instructional content, recommending improvements for online and hybrid course delivery
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in instructional design or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in instructional design
- Proficiency in designing courses using Canvas and Articulate 360
- Portfolio demonstrating previous work in course design and development
- Experience with online and hybrid pedagogy or technology training
