Job Summary
Consulting with educators on the design and delivery of instructional materials, the full-time Online Instructional Designer will enhance online and hybrid courses for the University of Pittsburgh's School of Computing and Information while working remotely.
Key responsibilities
- Consults with faculty and subject matter experts to develop and enhance instructional materials and integrate technologies for online and hybrid courses
- Evaluates instructional needs and aligns learning goals and outcomes for effective online and hybrid delivery
- Designs and delivers training programs for faculty and staff on online pedagogy and instructional design best practices
Required qualifications
- Master's degree in instructional design or a related field
- 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in instructional design
- Proficiency in designing courses in Coursera
- Experience utilizing AI for instructional design and assessment
- Portfolio demonstrating previous instructional design work is required
