Online K-12 Part-Time Teacher

Job Summary

A company is looking for part-time K-12 teachers to provide online education to a diverse range of domestic and international students.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver specific course content through live, synchronous instruction, and asynchronous student facilitation support
• Grade student work within 24 business hours of submission and respond to email communication within the same timeframe
• Assist in implementing policies governing student life and conduct in a virtual classroom setting, and collaborate with mentor teachers and academic managers

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education Level

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited US university
• State teaching certification (any state) and/or relevant credential in the subject area(s) to be taught, preferred
• Minimum one year of online teaching experience preferred
• For Catholic religion classes: Bachelor's degree or higher in Theology from a Catholic University and practicing Catholic in good standing
• Technical requirements include a PC or Mac with specific software and high-speed internet
