Job Summary
An online education organization needs applicants for an opening for a Online K12 Substitute School Counselor.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Communicating with parents, students and teachers on a regular basis
- Reviewing transcripts and use those to determine appropriate student course placements
- Meeting at least monthly with an assigned Substitute Services supervisor via video conferencing
Position Requirements Include:
- Bachelor’s degree or higher
- Maintain active certifications
- Microsoft OS- and Microsoft Office-equipped computer required
- May not be employed in another job during normal school hours while on assignment
- Ability to work occasional evening hours, as needed, to support some families
