Job Summary

Seeking a native Mandarin speaker, the contracted Online Mandarin Tutor will provide ten one-hour sessions for two beginner students aged 6 and 8, focusing on traditional Chinese language skills in a remote setting on weekends.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct online language sessions via Zoom for beginner students
• Develop customized lesson plans tailored to students' Taiwanese heritage and learning goals
• Provide a 30-minute trial session to assess compatibility and teaching effectiveness

Required qualifications

• Native Chinese speaker or relevant teaching qualification
• Experience as a language teacher, translator, or interpreter
• Availability for weekend sessions at specified times
• Ability to conduct lessons in a two-to-one format
• Willingness to negotiate hourly rates based on experience and qualifications
