Online Math Program Assistant

Job Summary

Supporting the instructional and operational needs of an academic program, the part-time Online Math Program Assistant will assist mentors by grading assignments, facilitating live classes, and maintaining course materials in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Attend weekly meetings to align on priorities and mentor needs, capturing notes and tracking action items
• Provide instructional support during live classes and hold office hours for additional student engagement
• Grade assignments and provide feedback while maintaining course materials and ensuring program operations run smoothly

Required qualifications

• High School Diploma required
• Demonstrated experience or academic background in the subject area of the assigned program
• Experience using learning management systems, preferably Canvas
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage delegated priorities
• Interest in developing as an educator, with prior experience working with students preferred
