Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Math Tutor.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to foster student independence and critical thinking
• Be available to tutor students primarily between Sunday and Thursday evenings
• Onboard and prepare for tutoring sessions within 2-5 business days after hiring

Required Qualifications

• Advanced knowledge in mathematics, preferably calculus and statistics, through education or professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting tutorials
• Excellent academic performance in undergraduate or graduate studies
• Minimum availability of 2-5 hours per week during the fall and spring semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or experience tutoring at the college level
