Key Responsibilities

• Conduct online tutoring sessions using the Socratic method to foster student independence and critical thinking
• Manage tutoring availability based on student demand, primarily between Sunday to Thursday evenings
• Utilize virtual classroom tools, including video, audio, chat, and whiteboard features for effective tutoring

Required Qualifications

• Subject matter expert with advanced knowledge in nursing, supported by an undergraduate or graduate degree, or relevant professional experience
• Access to reliable high-speed Internet and a quiet environment for conducting tutorials
• Excellent academic performance in nursing-related coursework
• Ability to commit to a minimum of 2-5 hours of tutoring per week during peak semesters
• Preferred background in teaching methodology or prior tutoring experience at the college level
