A higher education institution is searching for a person to fill their position for a Online Plant Genetics Subject Matter Expert.
Core Responsibilities of this position include:
- Developing courses in support of our Sustainable Horticulture program
- Working closely with the Dean of Sustainability Studies to develop courses in plant genetics
Qualifications for this position include:
- Knowledge of breeding methods for the enhancement of crops and landscape vegetation
- Knowledge of traditional and biotechnology plant breeding methods
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Understanding of the biological, economic, and social factors that impact crop improvement programs in specific contexts
