Online Reading Tutor

Job Summary

A company is looking for an Online Reading Tutor to provide virtual tutoring sessions for K-8 students.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual tutoring sessions covering vocabulary, phonics, and other reading elements
• Manage student behavior and engagement throughout sessions
• Create a safe, respectful learning environment and document observations for each session

Required Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old
• Must reside in and work from the United States with a valid US mailing address
• Knowledge of and experience with reading instruction based on the science of reading
• Classroom experience and/or online teaching/tutoring experience in Reading/ELA is preferred
• Access to a computer, webcam, and reliable high-speed internet connection
