Job Summary
An institute for higher education has an open position for a Online Religious University Data Science Programming Adjunct Faculty Member.
Individual must be able to fulfill the following responsibilities:
- Teaching students how to write programs in the context of data science applications
- Leveraging preexisting libraries to accomplish data retrieval, preparation, prediction, and analysis tasks
- Using Python and building on general programming principles
Qualifications Include:
- Required to agree to maintain the standards of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints as defined by the Institutional Honor Codes
- Bachelor's degree or higher in a Data Science-related field
- Experience using Git and GitHub
- More than two years professional employment with data science-related projects using Python
